of beautiful spinning wheels with
interesting stories over a number of years and I would like to share them with you. Please be patient as I endeavour to work on this page and build the collection online

Canadian Wheel from Prince Edward Island. Approximately 100 years old and still spins well

Handmade by Matthew Simms of Tasmania. Crafted from Tasmanian myrtle and wattle without use of power tools.
Normandy Spindle Wheel with some small replacement turnings on wheel and spindle (bat's) head.

A "find" at the local homewares store which imports unique items from Jaipur, India.
A spindle wheel- missing spindle. Traditionally used to spin cotton.
